Moonlight Mesa Redux

I spent the last three nights out on moonlight mesa watching the sun go down and the full moon come up (august 16,17,18) from this spot.

It's so peaceful out there I could spend a week just watching the light change across the mountains and desert floor. I also took some shots of the moon coming up which I'll post later.

Under the full moon the whole area just glows under a blue-ish light that makes it seem so other worldly. I noticed when the moon rose, the coyotes started singing constantly to one another as if to celebrate. Really a cool sound.

I'd post directions, but to be honest, I want to keep this spot a secret for just me to enjoy....let's just say it's north of the Coyote dry lake bed in Joshua Tree somewhere;)

Everybody needs a secret spot where they can go and be alone with their thoughts, right?
