Desert Target Shooting

I guess this actually should say "What people shoot at for targets in the desert".

Can you tell what it is?

I know the picture is rather small, but it's an old tin plate propped up on a propane tank. It's been there a while so both are rusted and have that fine desert rusty-red junk patina. Seems most of the locals can't exsist out here without dumping their old propane tanks, fridges, stoves, and yes, even bath-tubs out in the desert!

And then, of course, they (and sometimes me too, hehe) shoot them full of holes. I hate people dumping their garbage in the desert, but some of the old rusty junk that's been there for 30-40 years starts to blend in once it rusts and "settles in". No excuse for littering though.

I once found an old stove (gas range no less) that was in pristine condition out in the rocks. I set it up ready to pepper it with my .45 when I discovered I had left my ammo behind (D'oh! That was smart;). When I came back a few days later to do the deed, the stove was already shot full of holes!!!

The varmints!!!
