Another Desert Corpse
Yep, I was out exploring some old washes up in an area me call "buggo land" near Joshua Tree, Ca (where a large unknown predator is supposed to lurk that feeds on cattle and lonely wanderers) and I came across this old desert "corpse".
Looks like some of the local yokels were having some fun and went a little crazy. The car was flipped and rolled, and of course, after being there a few years, completely shot full of holes. I bet somewhere a trailer mom is asking "where the hell did junior go with my car?". Now since it was in a wash, there is the chance that it was wrecked somewhere else and the rains moved it to it's present location. There are a few roads back there, but it's so sandy you defintely need a 4wd vehicle if you don't want to end up spending the night digging your way out.
I'm thinking of doing a fancy-schmancy coffee table art book of just such desert corpses, whatta' ya' think?
