Cool Desert Sky
One thing I like to do in the desert after dinner (and sunset) is just set up my chair and sit and watch the sky turn colors as the light fades. Nothing beats the feeling of awe and wonder as the night comes on.
I can always tell if it's going to be a great sunset by looking at the amount of dust in the air. The more particles of dirt the sun has to filter through as it reaches the horizon, the more spectacular the colors of the sunset.
Add the crackle of a fire and a cold beer and it's heaven!
