Treasure Rock
This is a shot of the "treasure rock" in Joshua Tree National Park.
Legend has it that a huge treasure was buried at the base of the top boulder by an unknow desert hermit a while back, though no one knows exactly what...gold? Silver? Jewels?
So far nothing has turned up except a few scraps of paper and what looks like scratches on the rocks. Did he leave a map or markings where to dig?
I can't reveal the location, because people would start digging, and that's not allowed in the park.
Just another mystery in the desert to enjoy!
